REFERENCE SERVICES

• Disseminate information about the U.S. to the public and assists in conducting research about the U.S. to the public
• Distribute TOCs (table of contents), pamphlets, article alerts, Washington File, printed electronic journals.
• Compiles pathfinders and topical bibliographies

• XU community: 5 books for a period of two weeks
• Visiting researchers: In-site use only

ELECTRONIC SERVICES

• EBSCO Masterfile Elite: a full-text database of more than 1,555 journal titles on various disciplines.
• Online search: Two terminals provide Internet access for patrons with legitimate research needs.
• American Corner website provides links to Thomas Jefferson Information Center, US Embassy website, InfoUSA, US State Department, Virtuals Consulate Davao.

OTHER SERVICES

• Computer Catalog: Access to the American Corner collection is through the computer catalog at the American Corner or by browsing the URL http://library.xu.edu.ph:8080/webopac/main
• Board Games - Boggle, Last Word, Scattergories and Taboo
• Video Showing: showings on American culture and society are scheduled regularly.
• Reader Assistance: Orientation to American Corner resources and services; assistance in locating information.
• Photocopying: printing is free, simply provide the paper
